Meteorite Specimens

Uncut and lightly finished meteorite specimens for collectors rather than for wear. These are sections of Muonionalusta iron meteorite presented for the material itself — the etched Widmanstätten lattice across a broad face, with exact weight and dimensions listed.

The pattern is a record of cooling on the order of one degree per million years in microgravity. It cannot be manufactured; laboratories have tried to reproduce the conditions and never succeeded.
